Donation and Capitation is NOT required to be paid for admission to any programme of Symbiosis College.

New Admission

  1. All admissions will be based on Merit and as per the Reservation policy of Govt. of Maharashtra.
  2. The college also admits foreign students (Foreign National, P.I.O., NRI etc.) to the extent of 25% of intake capacity under the super numeric quota. These admissions are over and above the sanctioned strength and will be processed through ‘Symbiosis Centre for International Education’.
  3. Two seats are reserved for students from Jammu and Kashmir State for each programme. These admissions are over and above the sanctioned capacity.
  4. Ten seats are reserved under the Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS). These admissions are over and above the sanctioned capacity.
  5. One seat in F.Y. B.A. and two seats in F.Y. B.Com. per State from the eight North-Eastern Indian States i.e. total eight seats for F.Y. B.A. and 16 seats for F.Y. B.Com. are reserved for the North-Eastern Indian States within the sanctioned strength.

Admission Process (First Year) – 2023-2024

  1. Admission process will start after the declaration of 12 standard results of various boards like HSC/CBSE / ISCE etc. tentatively in the month of May.
  2. Student has to register by filling Pre-Merit application form online. The form will be available on our college website.
  3. Students can apply for more than one programme.
  4. While filling the Pre-Merit application form, student has to enter total marks secured of all subjects (Aggregate percentage) and other required information. College does not consider percentages based on best of 4 or best of 5 subjects.
  5. The student has to pay the Pre-merit processing charges Rs. 1500/- per programme within the stipulated time through online payment mode only.
  6. Merit List will be declared in due course.

If the student's name appears in the Merit List:

a) The student will get intimation on his/her registered e-Mail-ID for being selected in the Merit List.

b) The student should fill the on-line admission form and then submit.

c) To complete the admission process, the student will have to come personally to the College and he/she shall bring all the required documents like Marksheet, Transfer Certificate, Caste Certificate and other relevant documents required for various quotas for physical verification within the stipulated time given on the College website. Physical presence of student is compulsory.

d) The College will verify the documents physically.

e) The student gets mail from college after physical verification of documents and after allotment of the special subject with a link to pay the college fees. Student should pay the college fees for the entire academic year within the stipulated time.

f) Please note that the Roll No. and Division is assigned to the student only after the payment of college fees.

g) If student does not pay the fees within the given time, the admission will be cancelled.

h) The student has to submit the admission form, printed copy of receipt of admission fees, eligibility form and related documents to the office in the stipulated time.

i) All admissions are provisional till the eligibility is finalized by the College.
